Permanently focused on promoting efficiency in healthcare services by taking customer experience to the next level, CUF moved into implementing a new IT solution to support its core operation - a critical step and one that required a significant transformation.


This change would have a huge impact on every individual, every job, and activity inside the organization. As so, it needed to be carefully thought, communicated, and managed to guarantee a smooth transition towards the future. pur’ple accepted the challenge to create a change management strategy. One that would be global enough to embrace everyone and robust enough to touch each one.

To deliver the challenge ahead, pur’ple team engaged in individual conversations, in order to understand each one’s daily activity, identify the pain points that needed to be addressed beforehand and design the best buy-in strategy for each profile.

More than 50 individual and group conversations were engaged by pur'ple team with 20 different professional groups.

Working together with CUF, pur’ple developed a change management solution focused on the following keys issues:


  • Global reach but different intensity degrees, according to the professional level and identified needs.


  • Clear KPI definition according to each go-live phase and each moment in the change process.


  • Detailed activity plan suitable for each professional group and moment in the process.

Taking good care of transformation

The opened, healthy and rewarding relationship built among every stakeholder in the project – from HR to IT, from doctors to assistants - was the key to its success. The solution created by pur’ple was co-designed with the client, involved every key group of stakeholders and was highly valued by the organization.


Beyond the results, pur’ple contributed to, not only a change process but also toa mindset change regarding how transformation should be addressed by everyone inside CUF.
