What do you look for in a junior consultant at pur’ple?
First and foremost, we look for people who connect with our values. People who are curious about the world, eager to learn and share what they know, and motivated by the idea of making business and people solutions better. We value proactivity, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to see opportunity in a blank page.
When do your recruitment processes take place?
Our recruitment is tailored to the team's needs. That means there are no fixed moments - we hire when it makes sense, not just because it’s that time of year.
How many stages are there in the process?
For junior roles, there are usually one or two conversations. These are meant to get to know each other and align expectations - both yours and ours. Occasionally, there might be a short test or a practical challenge.
What’s your working model like?
We’re flexible. We don’t have mandatory office days, but we truly believe in collaboration and in building a strong team culture. Especially for junior roles, we see in-person time as key for learning faster, adapting better, and connecting more deeply with the way we work.
How many offices do you currently have?
We’re based in Lisbon and Madrid - but our projects reach far beyond.
Which languages should I speak?
English is a must since it’s our official language. Depending on the office you’re in, Portuguese and/or Spanish are also essential so we can respond to our clients with the care and proximity they expect.
Do you offer internships, summer internships, or trainee programs?
No, we don’t. We’re a small team, and we believe everyone who joins pur’ple should have the space and support to dive deep into what we do. That means being part of meaningful work, learning by doing, and growing through close collaboration. With shorter formats, it’s harder to follow a project through and truly experience the impact of our work, and that’s a big part of what makes being at pur’ple special.
